Nice road bike. Very light weight and is a dream to ride
Works as an entry-level road bike, tires aren't great. Assembly wasn't too difficult, it took about an hour and didn't require anything complex or significant adjustment of gears (for me at least). After a few hundred miles I have enjoyed the riding and while it isn't anything fancy (aluminum frame, pad brakes etc) it does shift gears pretty well and isn't so heavy.I did not like the tires that came with it however - they gave me tons of flats consistently on my normal routes. After going through about 5 tubes in a row, swapping out for sturdier tires was necessary for me to stop the flats, adding to the wheel weight.
Okay bike until you add the miles. This is an okay bike for the price. No it’s not a carbon fiber but the frame is not that heavy. I had a triathlon trek Hilo 2000 that was very fast and responsive but doesn’t do as well as this on the climbs. I live in TN so most of my country roads have 15-30% elevation grades. Gears are good enough to climb. I have put 500 miles on this bike so far.Only thing I would recommend is having a mechanic put it together if you are not mechanically Inclined. I had to adjusts the gears and on rough roads, these gears need constant adjusting after rides. It’s worth learning but could really put a damper on things if you don’t know what you're doing. Yes you have to put the tape on the handle bars; which was great for me as I like to adjust the outer cables to my liking.Lastly, tires are one of the thickest, heaviest tires I have seen on a road bike. I changed over to continentals 5000 and my speed was WAY better. Not an upgrade to an expert rider.Update: save your money. 300 miles my chain broke. No big deal. Less than 1,000 miles my back tire bent laterally and could not get back true. I weigh 155. 1500 miles in I start having drivetrain issues. My fourth cog on the cassette is bent and keeps switching to other gears. Everything on this bike is cheap. Save or buy something older.
Good beginners bike, but don’t better options can be found. Good- easy to assemble, 90 % pre assembled, relatively light, well engineered, fast, comfy stock seat strictly for short distances, overall a good beginner bikeBad- gear system is primitive could be better - changes automatically when in middle order gears, seats are tight, padded shorts helps.
Great ride. Easy to assemble, smooth ride, absolutely beautiful bike
Chintzy piece of junk. The chain broke on day 1. Not off to a good start. Piece of junk
Air on tires, they run at 90psi. Make sure to add air prior to first ride. For intermediate road biker. Easy to assemble, light weight for it's class.
Am I enjoying this thing. I think I got a great deal on this bike. The model has probably been discontinued. But I love it. I have never had a bike like this and it took me a while to figure out how to adjust it but I think I got it (thank God for YouTube!). I'm having the time of my life with it. I'm in shape but not for bike riding and can only do 10 to 12 miles at a time. And I enjoy every minute of it!

Great entry-level road bike. For the price, this is an excellent entry-level road bike. The flat bar is nice, but the grips slide around and needed to be swapped out (this is the only real negative about this bike, I'd take a quarter star off) The geometry is great for speed and hill climbing. The derailluers shift quickly, smoothly and accurately. They only required a little adjustment out of the box. The brakes do squeal, which is inherent on some disk brakes so Im not sure if the adjustment is off or its just the pads.It was very easy to assemble. Requires only a few basic tools. Adjustable wrench (or open-end wrenches), a set of good hex keys and a screwdriver is all I needed. I would have a local bike professional tune it up after assembly if you don't know how to adjust the derailleur and brakes. However,YouTube has videos and it's not hard once you get the hang of what everything adjusts for.I did need a gel cover for the seat or would definitely recommend riding shorts.I ride about 20 miles a day on this bike and overall am very happy with it!
Great deal on a good bike. It's been a while since I've bought a new bike. Never considered buying a Schwinn because I associated the brand with being cheap and old school. Since college I've owned a Nishiki, Giant, Specialized, top of the line bikes. I bought this bike purely based on price as nowadays I'm more a leisure rider. I have to say upon arrival I'm impressed with Schwinn's quality. The bike was packaged extremely well, instructions to put the bike together were easy (about 30-45 minutes), extremely light weight, and looks great. Despite ease of assembly I suggest taking it to a bike shop and have them 'tune' it (about $60) after you put it together or $100 (approx) for both assembly and tune. That way you can be assured everything is calibrated and adjusted properly. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of this bike.
Tire won’t inflate. Great looking bike and easy enough to assemble, but the front tire won’t inflate. I suspect damage to the inner tubing.
Arrived with missing parts - but once handled, it's a pretty good bike. This is my first review after just partially assembling it. I bough it "like-new", with 40% price reduction compared to the price of a new. It came with missing parts, namely, the screws that are needed to secure the handle bar to the steering column, are missing. Now I have to go on a hunt with the manufacturer, and potentially pay some more money to get the missing screws. Otherwise, there was one bent part that made it hard to mount the front wheel, but I managed to handle that. This is an update after day2:I finished assembling the bike after finding some screws in a friend's workshop. Adjusted the seat to my liking, and tuned the brakes - front and rear. Also on the shifters, I had to adjust the front derailer as it was making some scraping sound under certain circumstances. That's good now. The only thing left is some mild scraping sound coming from (I believe) the front brake. What's funny is when I lift the front wheel and spin it, there is no scraping sound. When I lift the rear wheel and spin it, there is not scraping sound. But when I ride, there is...But that's no issue at all. I took the bike to a spin and got a few 100 yards of test run. I'm disappointed by the brakes. They require hard squeeze to get the rear wheel lock up on asphalt, and at the hardest squeeze of the front brake I'm in no danger of falling over the steering bar or raising the rear wheel off the ground. I expected better than this. Few years ago, I had a $100 walmart mountain bike. It had rim brakes and they worked better than these disc brakes. I thought disc brakes would be much better than rim brakes. Maybe I just need to use them more and they will become better? Only time will tell.On the bright side, the bike is light, and fun to ride, and despite what I wrote above, the brakes do provide sufficient stopping power. I'll have to get out on a few longer rides to gather more experience with this thing. For now, it works, the ride is smooth, quiet, the bike is light, the shifters work and the brakes are also "ok".Update a few months later:This is an awesome bike. The brakes work well now, the scraping sound is gone. Easy to ride, I have 15-20 mile excursions with it and it was fun. The way I bought it (40% discount for like-new, with some issue that were easy to handle), it definitely worth it. I contacted the manufacturer at one point for help, they said this thing was under no warranty. So keep that in mind. No support - no warranty. Any issue you can't handle, you have to take to the local bike shop and pay for the work. I didn't have to do that.
Great bike, small pedals. I’m enjoying the bike so far. My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
This is hands down the best bang for your buck road bike on the market. This is hands down the best bang for your buck road bike on the market! I did a lot of research before buying this bike and it stacks up against bikes more than twice the price! The aluminum frame and carbon fork ride like a dream! I road it on a 50 mile ride this past summer among other lengthy journeys and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As with any bike make sure to check every nut and bolt during assembly. They're not always torqued to spec from the factory. In my case the bottom bracket lock ring needed a little snugging up. If you're looking to get into road biking this is the bike for you!
Aunque si se deben modificar de inmediato las llantas y todos los baleros por qué vienen de muy mala calidad, fuera de eso es buena para iniciar
Got this bike from Amazon. It looks amazing. I put Continental Gatorskin 28mm tires on it and Shimano SPD-SL pedals. Removed the reflectors and boom. Look at this thing. It’s beautiful. It’s at the LBS right now getting tuned but I rode it around the street and other than the gears needing indexing it’s light and fast. Can’t wait to take it out.UPDATE: Weather allowed me to take it out for 3 rides this week. 30k plus each of them. I averaged 27kmph on the rides on crisp March mornings. This thing is fast. Claris system works well. I did have it tuned at the shop. Shifts like a dream. Worth the money but put 28mm foldable tires on it.
I wanted a sturdy all purpose bike to ride on the trails and this bike delivered. I would buy it again.
So far really good, i took it to a bike shop for tuning and assembling as recommended on some reviews and i think it was accurate to do that.. bike feels super light and it really can go fast.I made a lot of research before buying this bike and other more known brands with even worst parts are been sold for more than 1200$cad..Ill update if something happen later..
Excellent entry level bike for a really good price.

Wonderful. My fiancée loves her bike! It arrived fast, and was free of shipping damage. It was relatively easy to assemble once I had the correct tools, and is good quality for such a low price. From a more technical point of view, the bike is a little on the heavy side considering its only medium sized. The dual set of brakes is a hit for my fiancèe who doesn't like to always be reaching for the drop brakes. The shift levers are a bit far back, but considering the brake set-up, it makes sense. For the price, this bike is a great buy, and even though it's not a top of the line road bike, it is more than enough to get you outside and enjoying cycling.
Bent Spoke and Wobbly Front Wheel. Firstly, The front wheel was easy to install but would not sit straight no matter how many times I tried to install it, it always wobbled. The instructions tell you to simply try again if it is wobbling. Second, one of the spokes on the front wheel was slightly bent which is unacceptable. Third, this is cosmetic but on the front of the bike frame there was some discoloration in the paint that almost felt sticky. Lastly, the instructions fail to explain where the shifters are to be installed so I had to zoom in on the picture to understand the installation. I'm very disappointed with this bike. It gets a one star from me mainly because of the front wheel not aligning and the bent spoke and due to those reasons I did not ride it at all.
Hard to assemble with lots of loose stuff but not a bad value for money. Overall a good bike for the price I paid but few tips. FIrst of all the handlebar does not center properly, you have to try at least 10-20 times, then road test to feel the exact center, additionally my package was missing nut bolt for gear assembly. I tried Home Depot/Ace hardware for exact match which in a tight space is hard to put, had to zip tie it for time being until I can find a good replacement. Secondly the pedals are old fashioned with spikes, someone with sensitive feet I had to invest another $15 in good solid pedals with 9/16 adapters to fit for me. Thirdly brakes are not that strong with lots of loose nuts but is acceptable for a newly shipped bike so have to work on it for few times until it breaks good. My recommendation buy if you are ok with above otherwise go to your local bike shop who charge way too much, otherwise a good bike for the price.
Perfect. Listen I usually don’t write reviews, but this bike is really good for a starter! It looks amazing and rides really good! I live in the city so this is perfect just for a starter. So if ur looking for something just to start off with, this is it! Oh and take it to the you’re local bike shop! Less headaches
Review. Gear system is not indexed properly so they slip often. Had issues with the chain after putting it together for that reason. Near the brake handle, a part snapped easily. It rides well enough for me to go back and forth from school. It is a great price but like all things; there will be pros and cons. Would I purchase another? Most likely.
Could Not Have Been Happier - NYC commuter. I purchased this bike back in March to commute to work 17 miles a day round trip in NYC. In honesty, I bought this as a quick fix to taking the subway during the surge and peak of our Covid outbreak with the expectation that I would purchase a better bike after a few paychecks. However, this bike as surpassed my wildest expectations and has performed wonderfully. Durable and comfortable, I've ridden almost 1000 miles at this point with no degradation issues. Normal maintenance is required of course. The gear shifter is not as precise as advertised, but at the price point, can you really complain? I can't speak to other's experiences, but if I was faced with the same decision again, I would purchase this bike without question.
You get what you paid for. TRASH. I ordered this bike as I am wanting to start riding around for a bit of exercise, nothing crazy or to intense. I assembled the bike and on the handlebars it has a clear indication that it can't be positioned over a certain line. I made sure to follow instructions to a T on everything. After 5 or 6 rides around my neighborhood which at most has a very slight hill. After the 5 or 6th ride I heard a weird creaking/ scratching from the handlebar. After some investigation I found the whole handlebar was completely broken in half. You get what you pay for, this is made of either the most brittle material ever made for a bike, or a manufacturing flaw caused this. I wouldn't mind a manufacturing flaw, but of course they tried to sell me a new kit after only a month of having the bike.Don't buy it. spend the extra money for a decent bike. Even if you are a beginner like me.
Meh. This bike ain't the best out there. It's definitely a budget bike. As far as looks go this thing is a looker but actually using it is a different story. If you're mechanically inclined getting this thing together isn't rocket science. But adjusting the poorly constructed brakes takes some time. After the better half of a day adjusting the brakes to get more stopping power I finally came to the conclusion the brake pads this bike came with are garbage 1/10 no bueno. They're made from this soft rubber material similar to the consistency of a pencil eraser that has poor bite on the rim of the bike. Riding it is pleasant. I was able to get some speed relatively easilyBike maintainss it's momentum as it rides. Shifting through the gears isn't the best. Not really a fan of the lever type shifters but it gets the job done. Quality feels ok, and as far as durability it's not good. After the first ride the bike fell apart and became unusable, via an issue with the rear wheel hub. Overall for the price they're asking if say it's not worth it. Had to wait a month for the bike to get here due to a lack of inventory. Definitely not worth the wait. Super disappointed. I am glad Amazon is making it right with a full refund but still can't help being bummed out after having waited so long for it.
Took it on a 140km ride to Niagara Falls on the first week I got it and had no complications so far. Very happy.
I've had this bike for about a year now and I must say it is a decent ride for the price. Although It is very heavy and 1 year in, the cheap materials start to show themselves. Can't be bothered to put a dime into servicing it. Brake pads are first to go, then tire tread. Shifting is very rough, some rust starting to form. For $200 you cannot really go wrong though. The forks were mounted backwards out of the box when it arrived but I thought it was funny. I am now upgrading to a real road bike.
Una bicicleta útil para ir de un punto "a" un punto "b". Muy cómoda y estable. Buen agarre de llantas de marca vitesse. Color naranja muy atractivo. Los frenos funcionan bien. La cadena muy resistente. Las velocidades muy bien.

Much better than I expected. I've had this bike for about a year and a half or about 2000 miles, it has far exceeded my expectations. At its price point I guess I expected it to be an uncomfortable mess that falls apart after a few weeks. It's been a solid performer and makes for both a reliable daily driver as well as a solid piece of equipment for both long rides or short sprint workouts. Most of the other reviews mention the same missing screw over and over. I do remember that mine had fallen off in shipping, but I found them in the box under one of the flaps. I wonder how many people who's were missing got thrown out with the box.It took me a little while to get everything adjusted and tightened down, but once I did I never had a problem again. The shifting and drivetrain are dependable, once I got the derailleurs dialed in I never have to worry about the chain slipping or falling off the chainring.I did have to order a stem riser, the handlebars are very low, which was a problem for me when I got it because I wasn't used to being in that riding position, I didn't have a lot of experience on a road bike. Because of its price point I suspect a lot of riders who choose this bike will have the same problem. The customer service so far has been pretty great. About a year into ownership I reached out to the amazon seller about the specs on replacement parts, and they've happily answered quickly every time I do.Its definitely not the lightest or most aero bike on the market, but it doesn't exactly make me yearn for something lighter or sleeker. Mine weighs 28lbs currently, it's easy enough to carry up and down stairs, and I don't feel like its weight is hurting me on climbs.I've been training quite a bit on this bike this summer and I've made massive gains in personal performance, honestly I get a special kind of joy riding this bike blowing past riders on one to two thousand dollar bikes on my local bike trails.Overall I've been very happy with this bike, and would probably recommend it to friends who were looking to get into cycling
For the money, it's good. Bought for the Unity Tour, as I am only riding for that and probably never again. Put it together and took it to a local bike shop to be gone over and set up correctly. My only issue is it seems to need 1 or 2 lower gears, but that could just be my preference. Unsure about durability, but appears well built and saved me a ton of money that I didn't want to spend.*******Update****** Rode the entire police unity tour and the bike performed decent. However, if the ride has any significant hills, get a better bike. It is not meant to climb. Considered switching out the front for a 46/30 and the rear for a 11/36, but decent Shimano GRX or 105 group sets plus the labor would cost as much as the bike.
Best Service I have ever received, period. The media could not be loaded. From the moment I chose this bike I told myself regardless of anything good or bad I was going to keep it. Moving in to the moment I opened it, it was love at first sight…It was easy to assemble as it was. I am not a mechanic or a bike expert but if I can do it, anyone can. Finally riding it was graceful. The mechanics of it, the smoothness of it it was and has been all more than I expected. However the best part if this purchase was the service I received from the merchant. I can’t say enough at how helpful and attentive they have been. It has by far and wholeheartedly honesty been the best service I have ever received. Communication was top of the line and understanding goes beyond anything I can describe. I want ti thank the team at Hiland for all the time, effort and help they offered throughout this purchase and assembly. The bike is perfect, I get compliments all the time. No changes needed really, to be honest.Definitely recommend!!!
Not a good experience. The media could not be loaded. I selected this bike based on all the great reviews, as I wanted a good commuter bike. Not two months later I am coming down a hill at night at a high rate of speed, and the left crank came loose and almost fell off. I took it to a bike shop to discover the square of the crank was stripped at the factory and looked more like a circle. It's frustrating to have problems with a two month old bike with a part that was pre-assembled, and this could have potentially caused a serious injury.I reached out to Hiland customer support and provided my amazon order screenshot with address and purchase date and asked them to send me a new crank. They responded with "Why don't you buy one on amazon and we will refund you the cost?" and provided a link to a generic (non factory matching) crank. I responded with "Why don't you send me one so I am not incurring additional expense and waiting for a refund?" They said, "Sure, this will take two weeks." I didn't wish to wait two weeks, so I bought the 170mm square hole replacement crank. Only when it arrived, it is a bit longer than 170mm, so now I will have to buy an entirely new crank set to ensure the length actually matches. Hiland should have done the right thing and sent a matching factory crank as this was obviously a defective unit on delivery. Further, the gear shifts, even when fully flush with the tightening screw, STILL rotate around the handlebar when you try to change gears - which is also dangerous and in need of modification. The white handlebar wrap - which gets dirty easy and looks bad on a black bike - is already coming undone and looking like a ragged mummy, so this will also need replacing. All said, I will have spent an additional 100+ to get this new bike functional. A highly frustrating experience with Hiland and, hindsight being 20/20, I would have selected a different bike.
The bike came on the expected delivery date. The package is not damaged. I ordered red color because the black is not available. It turns out the red is not bright red and I love it. The assembly is very easy. I got it all assembled in half an hour. I only need to adjust the brakes a bit with not much effort. The ride is very smooth and is faster than I expected.
This is a really smooth riding bike. The bike components are really well made, my only suggestion is that you do your due diligence and tighten every nut and bolt. Go over it with a fine tooth comb. I had a mechanical issue and contacted customer service, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. It all got sorted out within a day or two. Would recommend.
aside from a few minor issues the bike is great. The thumb shifters needed spacers between them and the handlebars in order to stop them slipping every time you try to change gear and the white handlebar grips were already looking a bit grubby by the time I finished putting the bike together. Rides well.
When bikes have gone from being a couple of hundred of dollars to thousands of dollars, it's hard to find a bike that allows you to take up long-distance cycling as a hobby (not competitive) at an affordable cost. I couldn't be happier that I came across this one. Not only is it affordable, it's excellent quality. If you know how to use a spanner and some allen keys, you can assemble this yourself. I read some people complain about the instructions being in German (the instructions come in both German and English) or being unclear -- then go to Youtube. You can find many easy videos of people assembling these in 10-15 minutes. Additionally, I will add, that the customer service is excellent and they respond to you immediately if you have any questions. 5 star bike. Don't let the elitist bike snobs tell you that the only way to enjoy a bike is to buy a $3,000 carbon frame Bianchi.
I received the bicycle without the pedals, so it is impossible to use it. I now have to buy separate pedals which is annoying

Early days, but seems a solid build. I've had this bike less than a week. I'm new to carbon road bikes but I've been getting more into cycling since March of 2024. My other bike is a Velotric ST1M pedal assist bike that I enjoy very much but I wanted something to challenge me more physically. I use the pedal assist on the lowest setting, and I get a good workout, but I decided that if I got a regular, non-electric bike that I could gradually increase my fitness even more by mixing up my workout.I thought the price of this bike was reasonable compared to name brands, so I rolled the dice. I had my local bike shop inspect the bike and assemble it for me. Today I went on the first proper ride - just down my local bike path for about 8 miles - before doing my usual ~30 mile route on my Velotric. Yes, it was a lot more challenging - so mission accomplished! The bike performed well. I've upgraded the pedals, added lights and an electronic bell (for warning the many wandering pedestrians on the LA river bike path). I can really feel the difference in the work out, so I'll very gradually introduce the carbon bike to my rides over the next few months.Overall, I'm happy with the quality - although I really don't have anything to compare it to. The one thing that is odd is that the brake levers (front and back) are on the opposite handlebars to the normal way (front left/rear right is normal) so I've had to place a piece of white tape on the left handlebar as a reminder of the switch. Apparently this is how Chinese bikes are put together.
Kootu Colorado boost. Didn’t bought the bike here on Amazon but bought from same seller “sava direct” as a customer return “used”Bought the bike back in May 16. I had waited till I had the bike to the shop for a safety inspection and to put it together.the tech said is solidFull Shimano Ultegra hydraulic set “only rotors are not shimano”When I first received the bike the box was damage and bike had some scratches no disclosed. But after contacting seller they responded quickly and did right. The bike is perfect and not breaking the bank.Overall I’m happy with purchase. Definitely will consider buying from Sava, Kootu bikes again. After I weigh the bike and ride some more will update!
Good Starter. Fast shipping, good packaging, zero damage. The bike itself is a good quality for the price. I got the bike for my wife who is 52 and its perfect size. Ran 1st 10 miles with it. She loves it.
